What You’ll Do

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting the pharmacists with routine nursing unit deliveries, record-keeping, filling of unit dose carts, and clerical functions to ensure the smooth running of the Pharmacy department.

The successful candidate will be able to:?

  • Work effectively in all duty areas, including receiving/storeroom, controlled substances, Pyxis, anesthesia trays, delivery, and medication cart refill.
  • Accurately fill medication surgical kits, medication carts, and specialty bins
  • Monitor for stock-outs and resolve stock-outs in a timely manner
  • Prepare sterile products accurately
  • Deliver medications and supplies to patient care areas

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • OK Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB credential preferred
  • Must have a passion for excellence?
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility?
  • Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills?
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills?
  • Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions?
  • Ability to perform work when no directions are given, and give directions to others?
  • Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful situations? ?
