Human Resources Director

FT, exempt, 1.0 FTE
Responsible for development and administration of all HR initiatives, the administration of the human resources department including the functions of recruitment, compensation, labor relations, employee relations, and benefits. Provide HR support to all departments, interpret policy and constructively interact with union representation and employees regarding employee and labor relations.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Administration, Industrial Relations, Business Management or related field preferred. A combination of education and Human Resources experience as delineated below is required. Must be willing to, or in the process of, obtaining a BA/BS degree in related field.
Three to five years’ experience as a human resource generalist required.
Minimum three years managerial and labor relations experience preferred.
Prefer SPHR or CHHR certification.
Healthcare Human Resources experience is highly preferred.
Labor and employee relations experience is preferred with a strong legal background.
