The incumbent in this position is responsible for coordinating the day to day operations and services provided under the AWARE Grant. The individual participates in the development and implementation of school-based programs intended to enhance the identification, prevention, and treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders among Seminole Tribe of Florida's school-aged youth. The incumbent coordinates all initiatives and activities related to counseling, training, and community outreach efforts in order to identify and address the warning signs of mental health and substance abuse disorders. The incumbent supports the Mental Wellness Program Manager in areas related to data reports, training and certification of staff in YMHFA, program implementation and compliance, adjust programming needs based on program data, and monitoring progress of the plan. Master's Degree in the area of children's therapeutic service delivery is required. A minimum of Three (3) years of experience working in the field is required. Individual must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to travel nationally to attend meetings conferences and/or training sessions and be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, are requirements of this positon.
