|Working Title||KUNM Radio Production Tech|
Under direct supervision, provides a variety of technical support services for in-studio and remote field radio productions, special projects, and station outreach activities.
Sets up and operates radio and sound equipment for live and taped radio programs, and assists with editing of material.
Operates multi-channel recording and mix-down equipment, including digital telephone interconnection equipment.
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Ability to set up and operate digital recorders, sound processing equipment, multi-track audio consoles, and ancillary radio production equipment.
Knowledge of the operation of studio microphones and knowledge of sound procedures and requirements.
Ability to arrange and configure studio facilities and equipment.
Audio editing skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends when possible.

|ERB Statement||Temporary employees working an appointment percentage of 26 (.26 FTE) or greater, per quarter, will be eligible to earn retirement service credits and thus are required to make New Mexico Educational Retirement Board (NMERB) contributions.
